Some TMC stepper drivers can detect when they bump into something that causes them to stop moving. This feature is so sensitive that it can actually take the place of traditional endstops. Use this command to set the bump sensitivity for the X, Y, and Z stepper drivers.

I will point out that with the SKR v1.4, there is no way to disable sensorless homing (unlike other boards that use a jumper), and as sensorless homing is currently not supported, you will have to either remove or bend the diag pin on the TMC2209 to be able to use mechanical endstops. That caught me out for a couple of hours.

Sensorless homing is not currently as accurate as mechanical end stops. All the pre-compiled firmware has this disabled so you will need to bend the pins out of the way. Also TMC2209 with sensorless homing. On the SKR Mini, you would have to set the DIAG jumpers for X and Y axis.

I don‘t think it is the SKRs fault, since sensorless homing works just fine using the Bigtreetech TMC2209.
