Hans släkting Sigvard Bernadotte, som gick bort 2002, var en berömd designer som formgivit hundratals vardagsföremål som de flesta svenskar har hemmet. Det är dock inte första gången som Carl Philip och hans kompanjon Oscar Kylberg hyllas och prisas.
Bernadotte & Kylberg arbetar med interiördesign, textilier och livsstilsprodukter. Deras designfilosofi är att skapa ikonisk och inspirerande design som håller över tid. Oscar Kylberg och Carl-Philip Bernadotte jobbar tillsammans heltid, med undantag för de tillfällen då Carl-Philip har officiella uppdrag.
